The Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride is a rehabilitative cycling program for wounded warriors. For many of these combat-wounded veterans, Soldier Ride provides the first steps on the road of returning to an active lifestyle.

Members of Team U-Haul will cycle side by side with these genuine heroes as they undertake this challenge to raise public awareness and support for wounded soldiers and their families.

One hundred percent of the donations collected will go to support the programs and services of the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides comfort and aid, counseling, rehabilitation and family assistance to wounded service members during their hospital recovery and readjustment to civilian life.

The 2009 Team U-Haul cycling team consists of 14 U-Haul Team members; please show your support by making a tax-free donation via debit or credit card to the cyclist you wish to support or make your contribution in support of the entire team. U-Haul will be matching donations dollar for dollar. U-Haul Team members also will be given the option to make a one-time or six-month contribution via payroll deduction. (Wounded Warrior Project is a 501(c)3 organization federal tax id# 20-2370934.)
