You can show your support of our troops by donating to the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride High-Desert Challenge 2007. The bicycle journey will begin at U-Haul corporate headquarters and will end in Las Vegas, Nevada. These heroes of the war on terror are bike riding to raise public awareness and support for wounded soldiers and their families. All donations support the programs and services of the Wounded Warrior Project, which provide comfort and aid, counseling, rehabilitation and family assistance to the wounded during their hospital recovery and readjustment to civilian life.
This year we have three System members who have signed up to ride side by side with these cyclists – Joanne Fried, director, Media and Public Relations; Chip Richards, system administrator, Computer Support Systems, and Robert Beidelman, husband of System member Lisa Beidelman, actuarial analyst, Oxford Life Insurance Company. U-Haul encourages System members to support the Team U-Haul Cyclists and Soldier Ride Cyclists during the “High Desert Challenge” kickoff at U-Haul corporate headquarters by making a tax-free donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
All contributions made will be matched dollar for dollar by U-Haul.
