Show your support for our troops by donating to Team U-Haul as we cycle from Phoenix to Las Vegas, Nev., to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project 2008 Soldier Ride High-Desert Challenge. The journey will begin on September 23, 2008 at U-Haul corporate headquarters and will end on September 26, 2008 in Las Vegas.

The Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride is a rehabilitative cycling program for wounded warriors. For many of these combat-wounded veterans, Soldier Ride provides the first steps on the road of returning to an active lifestyle.

Members of Team U-Haul will cycle side by side with these genuine heroes as they undertake this journey to raise public awareness and support for wounded soldiers and their families.

One hundred percent of the donations collected will go to support the programs and services of the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides comfort and aid, counseling, rehabilitation and family assistance to wounded service members during their hospital recovery and readjustment to civilian life.

The 2008 U-Haul cycling team consists of 15 U-Haul System members; please show your support by making a tax-free donation via debit or credit card to the cyclist you wish to support or make your contribution in support of the entire team. U-Haul System members also will be given the option to make a one-time or six-month contribution via payroll deduction. (Wounded Warrior Project is a 501(c)3 organization and will provide you with an official acknowledgment of your donation.)
